Welcome to Hodgepodge Point where we're peering over a collection of amateur writings.  Here there is no specific style or genre and who knows what extras we'll throw in.

For this week, I discuss my fear of a genre writing and admit to being lame and not having something prepared for the podcast.  So you get a dumb little poem.

Looking for submissions from young and old and all of us in between.  Send them to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I'll read them or you can record them yourself.  Whichever way you wanna do it.  Don't forgot to leave comments on my libsyn page or e-mail them over.  Thanks for listening.  Stick with me, there is bound to be something good soon. =)

This week I get all into talking about Roller Derby which I saw on Saturday.  That sucks up most of the time so there is little more there.  Then I present a skit from TabithaĆ¢??s Buffy Between the Lines audio drama that will be launched later on this year and her poems.  You can find her chatting about on
www.strangelyliteral.com and www.fantabzulous.com

Thanks to everyone who has sent me submissions.  I really appreciate it, but I want to encourage everyone else to still send me stuff.  I need all the support I can get.  And, of course, thank you for listening.  E-mail submissions or comments to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.

Alright, this episode really blows.  I used my new equipment, but I obviously don't know how to arrange it cause it sounds all muffled.  Sorry about that.  Hopefully, I'll figure it out for the money I spent.  I really do ramble this week then present a story I wrote the same day from my Immortals Collection.

Really want more submissions.  Thanks to those who have sent me stuff, but I want to see new faces too.  I should really say all this in my podcast where you listen rather then here where you probably don't read.  E-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I'll be happy to read for you or you can send over a recorded piece.  Thanks for listening.  I appreciate it.

This week I discuss being on twitter which you can find me under Laieanna and getting new equipment to help with my podcasting.  Then I go into length about my fun/mortifying time bellydancing.

After all that mess, I read another wonderful poem by Tom Marquette.  I love his poems and you should too.  You can find his podcast at www.footnote.libsyn.com

This is where I'm putting my 100 story submissions for all of you to listen to and if you would like to vote for me or others, please jump over to podcasting.isfullofcrap.com.  Voting and participation is encouraged.

This is also left open for potential tidbits to be added if they come after the regular podcast or just feel like extras.

Alright, so I'm posting this WAY late for voting, but you can still enjoy.  The topic was mine and it was Pea Shooter.  I enjoyed my story even though it's not a big hit over there.  Could be cause the sound came out really low.  *sigh*  Hopefully it's better here.

Well, I'm back and it feels slightly odd.  Before I really kick off my podcast, I play the promos for the Buffy Between the Lines from Tabitha at Strangely Literal and a promo for Phil Rossi's Crescent novel that should kick off tomorrow.  You can find his Crescent Vignettes and the novel when it's released at Crescent

Thanks to everyone who has sent me submissions.  If I haven't played it yet, I will be.  I appreciate your support.  Anyone else want to send something, just e-mail it over to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  And of course I appreciate everyone listening.
