Welcome to Hodgepodge Point where we're peering over a collection of amateur writings.  Here there is no specific style or genre and who knows what extras we'll throw in.

Yeah, I'm making a habit here with the waiting to long between shows.  I'm back though.  I'm not dead...yet.  I did cheat again and used one of my 365 Tomorrows called Bar Room Brawl.

Still want submissions.  I haven't settled on word count exactly, but probably close to no more than 3,000 words.  Maybe up to 5,000.  Send me your short story, poem, or novel excerpts.  Forward them recorded or raw for me to read.  All submissions, comments, or complaints can be forwarded to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Love having you listen and can't wait to see you next week.  Thank you for helping me keep writing.

Once again I took forever to get one up.  It was recorded this Sunday, edited then edited wrong then reedited on Monday and fought with Libsyn on Tuesday.  Despite all that, it is here...I hope.  Plenty of rambling this week.  Note the content worth something and your paper will still be blank by the end.  Then I cheat and read my 365 Tomorrows story called Hoard.

Holy crap have I been gone a long time.  Well, I finally have a podcast spitting out and it's 40 minutes of catch up.  So, be prepared.  I also mention that I have another story up at 365 Tomorrows and here is the link for that http://www.365tomorrows.com/11/14/hoard/

This week I present a poem written and read by Terrence McLean who is very good at spitting out the novel words in a short period.  Congrads on the Nanowrimo win, Terry.  You can find more information about his podcast at http://www.mcleanweb.ca/neverwas/

I'm still trailing behind, but at least something was put up.  I sort of catch you up with what I've been doing, which isn't much.  Little bellydancing, derby, and Nanowrimo.  Then I present my story that was published on 365 Tomorrows.  You can read it here http://www.365tomorrows.com/10/05/solution-for-a-whole-man/ or just listen to me read it.  I still encourage you to go to 365 Tomorrows each day for a fresh new story about our future.  When you're done reading, you can comment in the forum.

I'm baaaack!  I know, I know...it was a long wait and I"m sorry.  I was never gone, just buried in a whole for a bit.  This week I try to catch you up with my rambling then present the beginnings of one of my best friend's story which I named for her...temporarily. =)  You can find her life updates, movie reviews, rants, poems, and stories on myspace at www.myspace.com/Sunshine_n_Blueskies

I had to make up for lost talking time this week.  I know you're looking forward to that.  There is a variety of topics that even I've already forgotten.  After that you are treated to another sweet poem by Tabitha Smith, the ruler at www.buffybetweenthelines.com  I strongly recommend you check that out.  I believe the first episode will be coming out in the next couple weeks or so.

This is all story this week.  It's another long one and I did it in one podcast.  You get less than a minute of me talking then on to the story.  I tried to get this out in time, but things came up and I got sick.  Still sick.  So I'll have plenty to talk about next week.

Alright, I'm being a lamo and taking another week off in a sense.  I have this week's story written, but not recorded so I'll take care of it this weekend and maybe that will put me back on the track that I've derailed from.  Look for me in a few days....

There were a bunch of little topics I ramble on about this week and then push the great website www.blacktiemartiniclub.com run by Caleb Bullen. Highly recommend it.  Then we get into my story.  There are some bad words again and I forgot to warn in the podcast so hopefully you pay attention here and are no offended.

Then I play the promo for Terry's new novel that I'm part of along with a poem he has been kind enough to send over.  Go to his website at http://www.mcleanweb.ca/neverwas/

Thanks again for the support guys.  Hope you continue to enjoy.  Any suggestions on what I discuss in the podcast, please let me know.  And still want your submissions.  E-mail them to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Take care and see you next week.

Hey everyone, sorry I just dropped off the web planet here.  I didn't get what I needed done before my family came and since they've been here, I've had no time.  When I do actually get on the computer, I'm tired or just can't concentrate.  My story is still not done and I can't even get to my recording equipment.  I apologize, but the earliest I'll get another podcast out will be the first of July.  So please stick with me.  I will be back.  I have not quit.  I only see my family twice a year so they are the important thing right now.  Thanks for your support guys.  Keep looking for me.  I will be back!

This week I debate on changes to the podcast and thank you guys for continuing to listen.  I also give one of my dumb everyday stories.

After that rattling on I do, I get to read one of Laurence Simon's stories.  And it's a new one too.  Yay!  I liked how it came out.  To find more of his fantastic work, go over to www.podcasting.isfullofcrap.com

Take a listen to this one folks.  I included some bloopers.  They're not hilarious, but still fun.  This week's challenge was Cheating and the topic was actually mine from winning on a previous story.  We're not doing so hot in the polls, but I do this for the story, not the free magnets.  Or so I keep telling myself......

For this week, I discuss my fear of a genre writing and admit to being lame and not having something prepared for the podcast.  So you get a dumb little poem.

Looking for submissions from young and old and all of us in between.  Send them to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I'll read them or you can record them yourself.  Whichever way you wanna do it.  Don't forgot to leave comments on my libsyn page or e-mail them over.  Thanks for listening.  Stick with me, there is bound to be something good soon. =)

This week I get all into talking about Roller Derby which I saw on Saturday.  That sucks up most of the time so there is little more there.  Then I present a skit from Tabithaâ??s Buffy Between the Lines audio drama that will be launched later on this year and her poems.  You can find her chatting about on
www.strangelyliteral.com and www.fantabzulous.com

Alright, this episode really blows.  I used my new equipment, but I obviously don't know how to arrange it cause it sounds all muffled.  Sorry about that.  Hopefully, I'll figure it out for the money I spent.  I really do ramble this week then present a story I wrote the same day from my Immortals Collection.

Really want more submissions.  Thanks to those who have sent me stuff, but I want to see new faces too.  I should really say all this in my podcast where you listen rather then here where you probably don't read.  E-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I'll be happy to read for you or you can send over a recorded piece.  Thanks for listening.  I appreciate it.

I think I went hog wild in the talking this week. Trying to determine if I'm a geek then I go over my amazement at people who work on one group of characters and one world for years.  After that you are fortunate to hear some poems from the wonderful horror writer, Russell L. Okay, okay, I haven't done one of these in months.  I'm trying to get myself into a more consistent routine and actually accomplish the things I want to do.  This week's challenge topic is Location, Location, Location.  My story is called Home Sweet Purchase.  Thanks to Laurence for a great podcast and allowing us to voice our silly stories.

This week is all about failing to deliver last week and then an Everyday Story about my birds.

This weekâs poem comes from Tom Marquette.  Tom manages the Footnote Podcast that you can find at www.footnote.libsyn.com.  You should rush right on over there to get plenty of tidbit information about a variety of topics along with lovely poems to keep the creative side stimulated.

As always, you can comment on my libsyn page or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I will start begging for submissions very soon.  Iâm nearly tapped out.  Help a poor girl here, wonât ya?  Send those to my e-mail also.  Thanks one and all and I will see you at the End of the World Banquet.  Take care till next week.

Welcome to Hodgepodge Point where we're peering over a collection of amateur writings.  Here there is no specific style or genre and who knows what extras we'll throw in.

This week I discuss my encounter with my favorite radio guys and how I met my hubby.  That's as close as a valentine special I'm giving this year.

Also this week is a story by Laurence Simon.  Of course, Laurence is the owner and ruler of a land we like to call craptonia and you can become a citizen at www.podcasting.isfullofcrap.com

Those of you who promised me submissions, don't make me break out the whip.  To everyone else, I'm a sweet girl who would love your words.  Send them over to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Thanks a million times for listening.  See you next week.

This week we head to the circus and find out my take on Cirque Du Soleil.  I also discuss my Escape Pod obsession and laziness.

Still looking for submissions.  I'm starting to get desperate again.  Send them over to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Thanks for listening to my crappy accent.  It probably won't improve so I'm glad to see you have a high pain tolerance.

This week I talk about being a writer, of course.  Then I dip into American Idol's hold on me.

Still looking for submissions.  I'm starting to get desperate again.  Send them over to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Thanks for listening.  Stick around till next week...then even longer.

This is where I'm putting my 100 story submissions for all of you to listen to and if you would like to vote for me or others, please jump over to podcasting.isfullofcrap.com.  Voting and participation is encouraged.

This is also left open for potential tidbits to be added if they come after the regular podcast or just feel like extras.

I know, I know...I skipped a week.  Yes, I did participate for challenge 39, but the story wouldn't make sense to most people.  It was made specifically for Laurence.  This week was Starting A New Job.  This one embarrasses the hell out of me every time I listen to it....but it also makes me laugh.

I'm very pleased with this week's podcast.  Other than the gurggle sound from trying to adjust my podcast to get rid of the background noise, I didn't pop in the mic or really mangle this one up much.  Editing was pretty simple, and I finished it on a Saturday.  Holy Crap!  What's wrong with me?  I'm accomplishing things!

The poem this week is from a personal friend of mine who just wants to be introduced by his username Pain.  You can find out more about him on www.myspace.com/discardedpain

Got some submissions coming my way and I'll take plenty more.  Send them to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com along with any comments or suggestions you might have.  Thanks everyone...I love ya...in a nonsexual way.  Take care and see you next week!!

I went on way to long on this one so I'm irritated with myself, but it's late and I want to get it out.  Surprisingly, I still like the short story.

Remember to send me your submissions.  I don't wanna have to rob you at gunpoint.  Send them to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

Man, I think these holiday weekends are messing me up.  So here I am a little late again.  This week I talk all about my resolutions.

Happy New Year everyone!  May all your wishes come true!  What do you mean New Years isn't like a birthday!  It's the birth of a new year...why shouldn't we make wishes?

All feedback is gobbled up so comment on my libsyn page or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  I'm also taking submissions...submit under your real or fake name.  I'll present you any way you want.

Sorry it's late folks.  I give the pros and cons of Christmas then present a special creation from several podcasters at Podcast Pickle.  Then it's off to my own story.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  I'm ready for your submissions to start off the new year so brush off those old pieces and send them over.  hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

I'll try to do better next week.  =)

Once again I'm a little late on my "special."  Chalk up to being lazy again.  Still working on the story.  I hope to work hard on it tomorrow and then record it.  Have a great holiday everyone.

This time I open the doors for all you crazy people to come running in.  I think there are enough seats for everyone.  I also get stupidly choked up when talking about a friend.

Send me feedback through comments or e-mail.  I'll take your submissions at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  If you just want to throw something silly up here, I'll take it.

See you guys in a week.  Hopefully I will have a holiday story as I plan.  Last minute Laieanna is on the case.  Ha!

Still trying to get back into the groove I so blindly think I had before I went on vacation.  I may have just rambled this time, but hopefully you'll find some substance in there somewhere.

Remember...comments and e-mail are not only encouraged, but deeply desired!  Come to me, my pretties...come to my podcast!  Send something my way at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

Another one wrapped up.  Soon, I'll be doing this with one hand tied behind my back.  Take care and see you next week.

Well, I’m back and stuff.  It’s hard to get back into this…at least the talking part.  So I am all over the place on this one.  And every time I think I have nothing to say, I say a lot of nothing.

If you want stalking rights, you have to let me know who you are, so leave a comment or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

Careful zipping through those Christmas crowds, and come back here when you’re done to hear another one of my podcasts next week.  Take care.

So you guys luck out...not!  I still talk on, but that's what Hodgepodge is all about.  Then we have a story that has a feel for the person that's me.

Keep in mind that comments or e-mail at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com lets me know you're still breathing over there.

Now if you didn't like this one or the ones before...keep coming back.  I'm bound to improve at some point...right?  Right?!

This time I go on about the show I saw later in the day...which was excellent, except we were in the orchestra pit so the stage was higher up and I couldn't watch their feet.  But I got souvenirs from the stage!  Then I discuss my need to be part of a community.

I cherish your feedback so send it over as a comment on my libsyn page or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.  Please, stick around for future episodes.  I love having you in my home.  Take care.

Here it is, folks...the Halloween Special.  Alright...so it's not that special, but it's here.  Sorry about the delay.  I got long winded on this one and have a fairly long story so this one will take up a tad bit more of your time.

Remember...feedback is the spice of life.  Send me over your thoughts on here or at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

Happy Halloween everyone.  Hope your costume isn't permanent.  Muhahahaha!

Well I stated that this would be a rather short podcast, but I ended up rambling enough to make it ten minutes.  I talk about my writing progress and a little about the poem I present.

As always, feedback is welcomed.  Let's me know who's listening out there.  Leave a comment here or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for listening and come back for the Halloween special...which I hope is at least a little special.

This episode I give some shout outs to a few friends of mine on the podcasting circle.  Check them out if you haven't already.  Then I ramble about the woes of my story, Supper's at Sundown.

As always, feedback is welcomed and can be placed here or sent to hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com

Thanks again for listening, and I want to see every one of you back here next week with a friend in tow.

In this podcast I ramble in my sleepy state about drinking and poetry.  Then I present two very short poems.  Believe me...the rambling takes up far more of your time than the poems do.

Feedback is always welcomed.  Comment here or e-mail me at hodgepodgepoint@gmail.com.

Thanks for listening and please come back next week.
